By downloading, installing, or using Samurai Scribe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

2. Software License

Free Tier: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the free version of Samurai Scribe for personal or commercial use.

Pro Tier: Upon purchase of a Pro license, you are granted a perpetual license to use the current and future versions of Samurai Scribe Pro on a limited number of devices (currently 3) owned by you.

3. Pro Purchase and Refunds

Payments are handled by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase through our support or Lemon Squeezy's customer portal.

4. Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the software.
• Distribute your Pro license key to unauthorized third parties.
• Use the software for any illegal purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Samurai Scribe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data (including transcripts or audio files).

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date on this page.
